MSR Elixir 2 Backpacking Tent

The Elixir 2 from MSR is a lightweight, compact backpacking tent, offering ample liveable space for long multi day treks deep in the wilderness.

Two doors, each with their own generously sized porch area provide easy access to the sleeping compartment. The porches or vestibules themselves are sized to comfortably accommodate boots, packs and other gear or provide a sheltered space to prepare food and drink after a long day on the trail. The twin door design ensures you have plenty of space for kit as well as useable space to access the tent.

You'll find glow-in-the-dark zipper pulls throughout as well as built in gear lofts - ideal for a headtorch, phone or other valuables. The MSR Elixir 2 also comes with a footprint to help protect the groundsheet.

High quality aluminium poles are used throughout the tent, with a colour coded design to aid pitching in dark or difficult conditions. This makes things far easier when you're tired, weary, and just want to hide away for the night. Matching aluminium pegs are also included as part of the package.

The flysheet is made from a 68 denier ripstop polyester for reliable performance mile after mile, year after year. The inner combines a bathtub design groundsheet and a generous amount of mesh which helps aid ventilation and reduce condensation. Due to the inner pitch first design, you can even sleep without the flysheet providing a unique experience, sleeping under the stars.
