Since this F10 Helium UL 1 Tent was first released in 2017, it has been incredibly popular for those that want a highly technical tent that is extremely light weight (1.2kg) and compact (40x13cm) ideal for shorter trips and for those moments when you are able to grab your gear and go!
This tent has factory taped seams, the flysheet has a silicone PU coating and the groundsheet is a bathtub style for complete protection from the wet weather and with its low profile design, preangled poles and Dyneema TBS® Pro this tent offers exceptional stability making it a fantastic choice for protection in inclement weather!
Even though keeping pack size and weight to minimum has been key when designing this one man tent, it still offers a reasonable amount of living space and room for storing your gear, compared to other similar models of solo tents! Force Ten have achieved this through the use of pre-angled poles which maximizes inner space. To make staying in this tent as comfortable as possible, they have used a nylon inner and ventilation points to encourage air flow and reduce condensation build up.
All in all, here at OutdoorGear, we are incredibly impressed by the specs of this solo tent, especially the weight and pack size and the use of the TBS for extra stability, and we can see this being a real contender for best lightweight solo tent for 2017 and onwards!
