Fjallraven Abisko Midsummer Shorts

Light, cool and very packable Abisko Midsummer Shorts are designed for warm climates and are just as suitable in the rainforest as on sun-baked mountain trails. Made from well-ventilated, quick-drying G-1000 Air Stretch and stretch fabric, with an articulated fit that gives even more freedom of movement. A map and small items can be stored in the two leg pockets, and hand pockets have zippers and ventilating mesh lining.

The Abisko Midsummer Shorts are one of my favourite Fjallraven products this year. The lightweight stretch fabric that makes up the main section of the shorts is paired with a more durable G-1000 Air Stretch on the seat and the front pockets. Unlike may of their other products, this variation of G-1000 is unwaxed for maximum breathability.

The fit is great, I'd call it an active fit - not too baggy and not too slim. As with every product from Fjallraven, the small details are what really stand out. Durable metal poppers and leather logos ooze quality and ensure they don't look too 'outdoorsy', meaning they look great on the hill as well as day to day wear. I picked up a few pairs earlier this year and they're now my go-to shorts!
